Green Burial

Kirby & Family is proud to own and operate the first and only  certified green burial cemetery in the state of Arkansas. Our green burial section provides families with a natural, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional burial — returning loved ones to the earth with minimal impact.

This peaceful, natural setting allows you to honor your loved one’s life in a way that reflects care for both family and the environment, while upholding the highest standards of respect and dignity.

Life Celebrant

Heather Marsalis serves as Kirby & Family’s official Life Celebrant and Tribute Professional. Certified by the Insight Institute, Heather offers families a thoughtful and modern approach to creating personalized funerals and memorial services. As a funeral celebrant, Heather helps design meaningful ceremonies especially suited for those who aren’t affiliated with a specific religious faith, or who simply want something different from a traditional service. Her guidance ensures each tribute truly reflects the unique life, personality, and story of your loved one.

Our Area's Newest Crematory

At Kirby & Family, we own and operate the area’s newest and most modern crematory, giving families true peace of mind knowing their loved one never leaves our care.

Our crematory is run by qualified, licensed staff with the expertise and experience to perform cremations safely, efficiently, and with great respect  — without harsh environmental discharges like visible smoke. Unlike other funeral homes in town, we handle every step ourselves, providing a level of trust and accountability that not all funeral homes can offer.

Access to Outside Cemeteries

We are the only funeral home that will open and close graves in all community cemeteries. We own our own backhoe and trailer. This gives us flexibility to oversee all grave opening and closing for our families. This is unique to Kirby and Family. We also perform burials at Baxter Memorial Gardens, a cemetery owned by Roller Funeral Home.

Monument Sales

Because we own and operate Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery, we’re able to offer families a wider selection of high-quality granite and bronze on granite monuments — often at more affordable prices. This means you have more choices, better value, and the peace of mind that comes with working directly with the people who care for your loved one’s resting place.
