William "Bill" Komorn of Gassville, Arkansas, passed away August 21, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born September 9, 1943, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, the son of Joel and Evelyn Welzien Komorn. He married Margaret Gasteier on August 2, 1969, in Des Plains, Illinois and worked as a Supervisor in the airline industry. Bill was a U.S. veteran of the United States Navy in the capacity of Medic. He lived in Gassville since moving from Romeoville, Illinois in 2002. He was of the Jewish faith. Bill enjoyed fishing, walking the dog and hiking. Bill never met a stranger.
Bill is survived by his; wife, Margaret Komorn of Gassville, AR; son, Kris (Keri) Komorn of North Aurora, Il; daughter, Kim Komorn of Gassville, AR; brother, Shawn Kormorn of Texas; sister, Margo Piper of Illinois and grandchildren Rece and Matthew Komorn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

A family graveside service was held in the Green Burial Section of Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
