William Goveia

William Goveia was born October 14, 1916 in Jacksonville, Illinois. He was the son of Antonia and Augusta Menezes Goveia. He married Betty Ruth Page in 1983 in Springfield, Illinois. He was a glazier for a glass company and a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Mr. Goveia lived in Springfield, Illinois prior to moving to Midway, Arkansas in 1984. He was a 54 Year Mason Tyrian, Lodge #333, Springfield, Illinois. William Goveia passed away on March 26, 2005, at his residence. He lived 88 years, 5 months, and 12 days.
