William “Bill” Ronald Fraser passed away at his home on July 27, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 81. Bill was born on July 30, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, to William A. and Jean Phyllis Jones Fraser. He attended Iowa State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. During his time at college, Bill met the love of his life, Cheri White. The couple was united in marriage on July 1, 1967, in Terre Haute, Indiana. After graduation, he worked for Gulf Oil Company for almost 20 years in Texas and Pennsylvania. They moved to Mountain Home in 1986, where they owned and operated a production pottery business until retirement. Bill enjoyed cooking and caring for his garden. He was known to be a jokester and always talkative; he especially loved spending time in nature.

Bill is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Cheri Fraser; son, Preston Fraser of Little Rock, AR; daughters, Stephanie Fraser of Chesterfield, MO, and Valerie (John) O’Donnell of Warrensburg, NY; brothers, Mike (Sherry) Fraser of Rockford, IL, and Rowland Fraser of Davenport, IA; sisters, Kay (Dan) Shaeffer of Davenport, IA, and Nancy Fraser of Davenport, IA; and grandchildren, Caitlin, Celia, Will, Bethany, Tiffany, Kaylen, Tyler, Kylee, and Luke.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Emily Fraser; and sister-in-law, Katie Fraser.
