William Roger Dyce, 75, passed away on September 18, 2026 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on July 16, 1951 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Walter and Louise (Brinker) Dyce. He joined the military in March of 1970. He enjoyed serving his country and traveling the world. Roger retired from the United States Navy in 1990. He married Laura June 4, 1994 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. After retirement, he made his wife’s dreams come true and they bred horses for 20 years. Roger was a member of the Gassville Baptist Church. 

Roger is survived by his wife, Laura Dyce of Mountain Home, AR; son, Michael (Tammy) Dyce of Arkansas; son, Scottie (Susan) Dyce of New Jersey; daughter, Kristi Trumbauer of Iowa; and son, Bryan (Victoria) Dyce of Missouri. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; brother, DeWayne Dyce of Arkansas; sister, LaDonna Kirkland of Arkansas; and several nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Louise Dyce; son-in-law, Frank Trumbauer; and two sisters, Reneé Walker and Sandra Stromberg. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00pm until 7:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 10:00 am at Gassville Baptist Church with Brother Gary Wise and Brother Larry Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas with military honors provided by the United States Navy and the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guards. A reception will be held following the burial at the fellowship hall at Gassville Baptist Church.
