William (Bill) Wright Danley, 64, of Gainesville, Missouri, passed away March 15, 2024, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was born November 9, 1959, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the son of Bert Lee Danley, Jr. and Frances Marilyn (Wright) Danley.

Bill grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, where he started his lifelong career with Kentucky Fried Chicken, working in several different locations in Arkansas, Kansas, and Missouri. He married Mary Susan (Grisham) Hughes on December 8, 2001, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, where they lived until her death in 2014. He enjoyed watching old movies and wrestling and loved playing video games in his spare time.

Bill is survived by his sister, Keri, and Erik Akers of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, their children Allyson and Daniel Akers, and his stepson Jeremy Hughes and Jeremy’s daughter Claire. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary.

A Family Graveside Service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Ball Cemetery, in Dora, Missouri, with David Shipley officiating.
