Tanya Darlene Hough was born October 12, 1973 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Bill and Vivian Lawless.

She departed this earth and moved to Heaven on Monday, November 3, 2025 after a lifelong battle with Crohn’s disease.

In spite of her disease she became a very accomplished woman. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1991. After attending Arkansas State University, Mountain Home and University of Central Arkansas, Conway, she received her Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from Southwest Missouri State University in 1999 and received her Master of Psychology degree (summa cum laude) in 2001 and her Doctor of Psychology degree from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, MO in 2003.

Tanya was a brilliant student and a member of Psi Chi, the national honorary society in Psychology. Tanya and Randy Hough were married in 1995 and to this union two beloved sons were born, Emory Hough and Owen Hough.

Tanya is survived by her mother, Vivian Haley Green of Cotter, AR; her two sons, Emory Hough of Fayetteville, AR and Owen Hough of Bentonville, AR. She is also survived by her husband Aaron Clark of Centerton, AR.

Tanya enjoyed a wonderful childhood in Mountain Home surrounded by a close-knit circle of friends. She had a lifelong love of animals, not just her many dogs, but baby squirrels that fell from their nests, terrapins, horses or any other creature that happened her way. Her family cherished many memorable vacations to the Bahamas, Maui and the Cayman Islands and our local lakes.

As a youth, Tanya accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the Eastside Baptist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
