Shirley Jean Cline

Shirley Jean Cline of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away December 14, 2023, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 88. She was born August 26, 1935, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Joseph Lawrence and Elsie Jackson Fulgham. She married Levi Cline on December 22, 1953 in Hernando, Mississippi. Shirley started out working with her dad at the grocery store as a young girl and went on to work as a clerk for Kroger for over 32 years. Shirley lived in Mountain Home since moving from Blythville, AR in 1999. She was an active member of the Calvary Apostolic Church of Mountain Home, AR. She loved going to church, helping others get to church, and praising the Lord. In her younger days, Shirley was handy with her sewing machine and tailored her own clothes. Shirley enjoyed reading, playing Scrabble, and Phase 10. Taking care of others was engrained in who Shirley was, she would do anything for anyone.

Shirley is survived by her son, Tommy (Wanda) Cline of Mountain Home, AR; daughter, Karen (Kevin) Andes of Milton, FL; brother, Darryl Fulgham of Jonesboro, AR; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by Levi Cline; son, Jerry Cline; brother, Danny Fulgham; and sisters, Joan Gillihan and Carolyn Baugus.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mountain Home, AR. A Funeral for Shirley will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Joseph Beasley officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
