Saundra Kay Edwards, 84, of Mountain Home, AR, passed away on August 14, 2026, and joined the heavenly chorus. Her parents, the late Ralph Earl Fouraker and Ilene (Perkins Fouraker) Baker, welcomed her into the world on April 24, 1942, in Sabetha, KS.

A gifted pianist from an early age, Kay carried a deep love of music throughout her life. In later years, she faithfully shared that gift as a member of the choir at First Baptist Church of Mountain Home.

Kay also excelled as a comptroller. While working for a construction company, she met Clint Edwards, the love of her life, and they began a beautiful new chapter together.

Kay and Clint married and shared more than 42 blessed years together—a life rich in love, faith, humor, and countless treasured memories.

Kay’s gift for working with finances later led her to a local heating and air company owned by Eddie and Suzanne Goodwin. They became dear friends and treated her like family. They invited her to First Baptist Church of Mountain Home and encouraged her in her walk of faith with Jesus Christ. Kay joined the church and, as a born-again Christian, chose baptism again to testify to her faith in her Savior and the cleansing grace she had personally experienced. Through decades of faithful service, Kay became a beloved pillar of her church family, offering her time, talents, and steadfast support.

Her faith shaped the way she lived, loved, and cared for everyone around her.

Her loved ones will remember Kay as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment they shared.

She also delighted in travel, visiting all 50 states and many countries around the world, including Japan, Greece, and Italy.

Kay now rests in the loving arms of her Savior, yet all who cherish her memory will miss her deeply. Her husband, Clint Edwards of Mountain Home, survives her, along with her sons, Donald Parker (Lenetta) of Hernando, FL, and Dennis Parker (Barbara) of Benton, AR; her brother, Mark Fouraker of St. Joseph, MO; and her sister, Brenda Beightel of Topeka, KS. Her grandchildren also carry on her memory: Jacey Parker (Vanessa) of Houston, TX; Meagan Bratton (Jake) of Richmond, TX; Calvin Parker (Amanda) of West Columbia, TX; Brandon Parker (Lara) of Alvin, TX; Vince Parker (Becky) of Bel Air, MD; Daniel Parker of Conway, AR; Deanna Dailey of Benton, AR; Cal Parker of Benton, AR; Laci Davis (Johnny) of Orlando, FL; and Kisha Jaggers of New Albany, In. Her great-grandchildren are Dante Dailey, Jaxson Collins, Sullivan Collins, Clayton Parker, Avery Parker, Landon Parker, Walker Parker, AJ Harshey, Brittany Gebby, and Jackson Gebby. Bonus family members Patti Garcia, Linda Parker, and Annette Parker also cherish her memory, along with a host of relatives, loved ones, and friends who will miss her dearly until they meet again.

The family will hold services on Monday, August 24, 2026, at First Baptist Church of Mountain Home, 1205 Spring Street, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m.

The family will gather for a private committal service at a later date.
