Robert Joseph Smoke

Robert Joseph Smoke, of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, passed away on January 11, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 65. He was born on May 17, 1960, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Gary and Sharon Smoke.

Robert spent his career as an auto mechanic, a profession that reflected his strong work ethic and mechanical skill. In 2010, he moved to the Bull Shoals area from Montana and made it his home.

Robert enjoyed bowling and hunting, but his true passion was fishing. He found peace and joy on the water and cherished the time spent outdoors.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon (Rick) Willoughby of Bull Shoals, Arkansas; his children, Rachel Smoke, Kenneth Smoke, and Samantha (Jeffrey) Afdahl of Helena, Montana; his sister, Kimberlee Taylor of Norfork, Arkansas; his brothers, Mike Smoke of Denver, Colorado, Dan Smoke of Bull Shoals, Arkansas, and James Smoke of Reed Point, Montana; and his beloved grandchildren, Michael Coy, Isabella Afdahl, and Destan “DJ” Afdahl, all of Helena, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Smoke.
