Ricky William Gibbs

In loving memory of Ricky William Gibbs. He was born May 10, 1955 in Corcoran, California to Bill and Muriel Gibbs. Rick was raised in Alspaugh by his parents, along with his two sisters. As a child, he spent his time mercilessly pestering his sisters, running the cotton fields, and enjoying the occasional turkey hunt. Through his teenage and young adult years, he enjoyed playing baseball and racing in the dunes. Rick raised his own family by working hard with his hands at his many talents, which included: plumbing, welding, and almost every aspect of construction work imaginable. He was truly gifted when it came to fixing or building things. In April of 2000, he married the love of his life, Kathleen Gibbs. They lived a happy life together and loved to go on motorcycle rides with some of their dearest friends. He entered into his final rest on August 1, 2025 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife. He leaves behind three children, Toby Gibbs-Gregory, Heith Gibbs, and Tyler (Brittni) Gibbs; two sisters, Donna Gibbs-Lefevers, and Tammy (Eddie) Cotter; eleven grandchildren, Luke, Seth, Nick, Maddie, Tobee, Hunter, Victor, Domanik, Izaak, Chloey, and Raychel. He also leaves three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other extended family; and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 6, 2025, 1:00 pm, at Real Life Church of Mountain Home.
