Richard Bruce Lowe, of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away on May 14, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 87. He was born on March 11, 1938, in Des Plaines, Illinois, to Harry and Cecilia (Leak) Lowe.
A gifted saxophone player, Richard held the position of first chair in his high school band. He went on to marry the love of his life, Dawn Winsauer, on June 23, 1962, in Des Plaines. Richard built a long and successful career as a Benefits Manager with Do All Company, dedicating forty years to the organization.
In retirement, Richard and Dawn made their home in Lakeview, where they have lived for over 30 years. He was a devoted member of Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church who could be found washing dishes in the kitchen, and was known for his love of golf, bowling, and tinkering-always working with his hands and staying active.
Richard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years, Dawn Lowe of Lakeview, AR; his son, Gregory (Debbie) Lowe of Woodbury, MN; his daughter, Cindy Ball of Mount Prospect, IL; and his cherished grandchildren: Matthew Lowe of Los Angeles, CA; Steven Lowe of Edina, MN; and Eric and Michael Ball of Mount Prospect, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and his son-in-law, Larry Ball.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church, with Reverend Michael Clark officiating. Inurnment will follow at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home, AR.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ by the Lake Lutheran Church or Hospice House of the Ozarks.
