Purcella Lea Rosa, 79, passed away on August 25, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Born on October 29, 1946, in Vallejo, California, to Rod and Geraldine (Campbell) Stanger, Purcee moved from Texas to Arkansas in 1960. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology from the University of Arkansas.

On August 9, 1969, Purcee married Don Rosa in Mountain Home, where she dedicated her career to teaching with Mountain Home Public Schools. She was a valued member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain Home and cherished gardening, traveling, shopping, boating, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Don Rosa of Mountain Home, AR; four sons, David (Nona) Rosa of Carrollton, TX, Brad Rosa of Pueblo, CO, Kevin (April) Rosa of Mountain Home, AR, and Kyle (Lagena) Rosa of Mountain Home, AR; and five grandchildren, Caleb, Noah, Ethan, Kage, and Emma. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Terry and Steve Stanger.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM until service time at the First Baptist Church of Mountain Home, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM, led by Pastor Tad Rogers. Burial will take place at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be David Rosa, Brad Rosa, Kevin Rosa, Kyle Rosa, Caleb Rosa, Ethan Rosa, Noah Rosa, and Kage Rosa.
