Pamela Ann Franklin, aged 86, formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on December 24, 2025, in Eugene, Oregon. Born on December 14, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of George and Ruth Turner Powell.

Pamela's journey in life intertwined with love and dedication; she married Thomas Franklin on August 20, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio. Over the years, she built a fulfilling career as a hairdresser at Fiesta in Dayton for 15 years, later transitioning to work as a deli clerk for Franks in Wayzata, Minnesota, for another 13 years. In 1997, they moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas. After spending a few years in Minnesota, she eventually relocated to Oregon to be closer to her daughter.

Pamela was a valued member of the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Auxiliary and the First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She will be fondly remembered for her warmth and kindness, bringing joy to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Amber Lynn Harrison of Oregon, Sheryl Powell of Arkansas, and Julie Kay (Mark) Jones Wise of Arizona; her sister, Sharon Kay Powell Roach of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Joshua (Sara) Jones, Carl Powell, Rachel Baxter, and Brandi Kovelan; five great-grandchildren, Layla, Callie, Conner, Emerson, and Joslyn; nieces and nephews, Kevin, Jimmy, Gus, Rosie, Guy, Barbie and Robin; as well as many friends from Embassy Parkway. Pamela was preceded in death by her father, George W. Powell; her mother, Ruth Alice Powell; her husband, Thomas J. Franklin; and her brother, George "Bill" Powell.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Violet Hill, Arkansas, with Pastor John Fleming officiating.
