Norris Dacus

Norris Ray Dacus,90, died on September 7, 2025 at his residence in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Ray was born in Lorado, Arkansas to Vernon A. and Doris Mae Burton Dacus on July 1, 1935. He retired from General Electric Company. Ray was very proud of his service in the US Army. He was a member of the church of Christ. Ray will be missed by his brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, stepchildren and friends and family.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his wife: Peggy Andrews Dacus; his second wife: Joane Baldridge; and his brother: Jerry Dacus.

Left to mourn his passing are his brother: Roy (Debbie) Dacus; sisters: Doris Burdyshaw and Betty Mitchell; nieces and nephews: Dana(Don) Kennedy, Christie(Craig)Cook; Shawn(Heidi)Dacus; Steven Mitchell; Julie(Michael)Prince; Joane's children: Dianne(Dean) Petty and David Baldridge; and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10am Wednesday, September 10,2025 at Lorado Cemetery in Lorado, Arkansas under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge,Arkansas. Randy Britton will be officiating.
