Michelle Lynne Grisham, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on November 1, 2025, in Mountain Home at the age of 55. She was born on April 28, 1970, in Irving, Texas, the daughter of John and Cheryl Schneider Waters.
Michelle made Mountain Home her home after moving from White Oak, Texas, in 1990. She was a devoted member of Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene and a shining example of faith, grace, and love. Michelle loved the Lord and lived her life as a reflection of His love. She enjoyed painting, watching movies, traveling, taking rides in her wheelchair to soak in the beauty around her, cheering on her Texas Rangers, and listening to Elvis Presley. She was Miss Wheelchair Arkansas and a published painter, and her life was a testament to her faith, marked by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness in all she did.
Michelle is survived by her loving mother, Cheryl Waters of Mountain Home, Arkansas; her son, Daultyn (Alyssa) Grisham of Malden, Missouri; her cherished grandson, Wraythe Grisham, who gave her her favorite name, "GIGI"; her brother, Michael (Michelle) Waters of Camdenton, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Raegan, Reese, Levi, and Winter Waters, and Winter’s son, Hayzen.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Waters; and her grandparents, Vivian and JC Waters, and Wilma and Wayne Schneider.
A Celebration of Life for Michelle will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2025, at Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene, with Pastors Johnny Lake and Terry Schneider officiating. Burial will follow in Maynard Bend Cemetery. The service will also be livestreamed on the Twin Lakes Church of the Nazarene Facebook page.
