Maxine Jensen was born to Luther Clare Dowd and Emmaline Taylor in Sedalia, Missouri. She was a retired Division Staff Assistant for the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. Survivors: 2 Stepdaughters: Joyce Williams and Lorraine Swanson, 6 Grandchildren, 2 Cousins: Shirley Ruby and Helen Naughton Preceded in Death by: Parents and Husband Funeral: Graveside service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. Burial: Will be at Mount Auburn Memorial Park in Stickney, Illinois. Memorials: First United Methodist Chuch or Hospice of the Ozarks Additional Notes: Maxine Jensen was a long time Author and Soloist. She was a part of the Telephone Pioneers, past President of United Metodist Women, Chicago's Swedish Choral Club, Easter Sunrise Committee, Hospice Volunteer, Choralettes and Musical Moments.
