Mary Beth Parrack, 67, passed away on September 9, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Mary Beth was born on July 9, 1959 in Denver, Colorado to Arlo and Virginia Armstrong Cook. Mary Beth married the love of her life Jay, on November 10, 1990 in Santa Maria, California. She worked as a Administrative Assistant for the Mountain Home Christian Academy and the Special Education Program for Mountain Home School District.

Mary Beth was known to many as a good friend and would do anything you asked of her as long as it didn't interfere with her pool-time in the summer. She enjoyed going to lunch with the school "Lunch Bunch" and regularly visiting with her retirement friends over a meal. For those that knew her knew that the apple of her eye was her beloved son, Sam. She lit up anytime she talked about him. Mary Beth enjoying traveling back to her hometown in Colorado.

In recent years Mary Beth enjoyed playing Mahjong. Her love for cats (especially Turbo) and loved getting dressed up for an event with a theme. Her favorite Halloween costume was her "crazy cat Lady" robe. Mary Beth's favorite signature party dish was cream cheese with jelly and firecrackers.

Mary Beth is survived by her son, Sam Parrack; brother, Brian Cook.

She was preceded in death by her parents and beloved husband Jay Parrack.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 16, 2026, at Christ Community Church with Pastor David Johnson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House of the Ozarks and Mountain Home Christian Academy.
