She was born October 31, 1938, at Emporia, Kansas the daughter of Mark G. and Lura Mae Straun Atherly. She was a teacher. Mary Lou is survived by her daughter, Gay Lynn King of Las Vegas, NV and friend Lewis Layton of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
