Marilyn Jean Beaver of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away February 2, 2026, in Flippin, Arkansas at the age of 83. She was born September 29, 1942, in Great Bend, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer and Margaret Ward Krug. She married Leroy on March 11, 1962, in Dodge City, Kansas and was a homemaker. Marilyn lived in Flippin since moving from Russell, Kansas in 2000. She was a member of the Flippin Christian Church.
Marilyn enjoy composing and rearranging music and playing for the church every week. She played bunco and enjoyed sitting on the front porch with her cat Boots watching hummingbirds while listening to the wind chimes which were perfectly tuned. Marilyn cherished times in her garden with her great grandkids. In weekly potlucks, Marilyn always told the family to carry a fork with them, because the best is yet to come! Her most important attribute was her faith in Jesus.
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. I Thessalonians 5:16-18.
Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid for the Lord your God. He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you, nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6.
