Margaret Lucille Donley
Went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 29, 2026 at the age of 91. Born May 10, 1935 to Walter and Katherine (Sharnoski) Wisniewski in Maple City, Michigan. Known for her warmth and unwavering commitment to her faith, Margaret was a beacon of love and strength for all who knew her. She spent many years managing a bakery, endearing herself to customers and colleagues alike with her meticulous organization and attention to detail.
Margaret's energy and zest for life were evident in her many hobbies. She was a master of crochet, creating intricate doilies and tablecloths that are cherished family treasures. She also enjoyed the challenge of crossword puzzles and playing Solitaire. Margaret found immense joy in tending to her flower gardens, each bloom a testament to her nurturing spirit. Margaret's faith was integral to her life. A long-standing member of both Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Lansing and St. Isidore Holy Family Catholic Church in Laingsburg. Margaret was also a regular for coffee with her Laingsburg ladies. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding her in death were her husband Howard Donley; son-in-law, Donald Wyne; siblings, Walter, Eddie, Andrew, Rosie, Barbara, Isabel, Arthur; as well as her parents.
Surviving are her children, Donna (Mike) Bulock, Christine Wyne, Howard (Tina) Donley, Beth Donley, Aimee (Bryan) Guenther; 12 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Corbin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Lansing. Family will receive friends for Visitation on Monday from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Skinner Funeral Home, 101 W. Jolly Rd. Lansing, MI 48910.
