Lyndell Alvie Boyd of Gainesville, Missouri, passed away on July 16, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at the age of 77. He was born June 29, 1949 in Mountain Home, the son of Alvie and Oleta Foster Boyd. In his younger years, Lyndell enjoyed riding horses. He worked heavy construction as a boilermaker. His work took him all over the United States. Lyndell was a member of the Eagles and the Freemasons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and especially playing pool. He loved to raise dogs and most importantly, spend time with his family.

Lyndell is survived by his brother, Lethell Boyd of Gassville, AR; sister, Phyllis (Kent) May; granddaughter, Kara Wynn of Harrison, AR; grandson, Skyler Pratt of Harrison, AR; great-grandson, Ryker; and granddaughter by marriage, Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kerri Ann Boyd-Mayhall; son, Gregory Lynn Boyd; and previous wives, Becky, and Wanda.

A Celebration of Life for Lyndell will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, Mountain Home, Arkansas. Burial will be at a later date at Martin Springs Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas.
