Linda Patricia Wilks Dufield, 79, passed away on June 07, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. She was born on September 23, 1946 in Century, Florida to Louis I. and Lorene Thomas Wilks. Linda married Robert "Bob" A. Dufield in 1974. She worked as a cashier at Kroger in Pearland, Texas for many years. In 2023, she relocated to Mountain Home, Arkansas to be near her daughter. Linda was a cancer survivor and knew the true meaning of perseverance. She enjoyed shopping and could spend hours hopping around to different stores. Linda had a special love of frogs and collected frog home decor and figurines in all shapes, sizes, and material. She especially loved traveling. She visited many places, some of her favorites being; Winter Park, Colorado, Florida, New Orleans, and up the East Coast, and even farther from home; Scotland, Ireland, and all over Europe. On Linda's adventures she loved to visit museums and spend time in nature.

Linda is survived by her children, Angela (Jim) Tree of Fordyce, AR, Liz (Jim) McCraw of Mountain Home, AR, and Robert (Amy) Dufield of Spring, TX; brother, Jack (Karen) Wilks of GA; grandchildren, David, Amber, Aaron, Addie, Ellie, Eden, Emily, and Clayton; and great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Sylas, Olyver, Miriam, Jackson, Bowen, and Parker.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Bob Dufield.
