Linda Lou Cummings of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at the age of 79. Born on June 18, 1946, in New York, she was the daughter of Joseph and Kathleen Valentine Cummings. Linda made her home in Arkansas after relocating from Virginia in 2016. She was a member of Clarkridge Baptist Church, where she found community and fellowship. Known for her love of the Lord, Linda also dedicated herself to working with children and was passionate about her prison ministry. She enjoyed crocheting, making a blanket for each new child in the family.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Linda Nichols, Koni Staton, Shane Westcott, and Cathlene Gancars; her six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter; and her sister, Jolene Doliver. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Kathleen Cummings; her brother, David; and her sisters, Mardele and Annie.

Burial will be in the Thacker Cemetery in Clarkridge, Arkansas. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
