Lenora "Lee" Powell, age 66, of Bull Shoals, AR, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. Lenora was born on December 5, 1959, in Chicago, Illinois, the beloved daughter of the late Barbara and Peter Agnello.

She was known for her business acumen in her younger years, working for Westin and Fairmont Hotels, where she ran the engineering department. She shared 36 years of marriage with her former husband, Bruce E. Powell. For many years, she ran security for the Housewares Shows at McCormick Place in Chicago.

She loved crafting, cooking, and running many events at the VFW, where she served as the President of the Women’s Auxiliary. Her favorite pastime was hosting her family at their home and boating on Bull Shoals Lake with family and friends.

Lenora is survived by her five sisters: Mary Doucette (Michael), Barbara Santrella (David), Debbie Ranieri (John), Becky Crimaldi (Guy), and Paula McCants (Mark); and her many beloved nieces and nephews: Peter, Ashley (Rusty), Michael (Josh), Daniel (Becca), Cassie (David), Ryan, Jessica, Stephanie, Nikki (Cam), Tony, Rachel (Jeremiah), Bella, Nick, Jordan, and Kilea as well as many great-nephews: Caleb, Camden, Elijah, Tre, Roland, Parker, and Callum, all of whom will always cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 10:00 am, until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bull Shoals, Arkansas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hoevel-Barnett VFW Post 1341, 1341 Central Blvd,  BullShoals, AR 72619.

Lenora will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
