Jorayne Martin Hackler

Jorayne Martin Hackler, age 97, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on August 28, 2021 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born in Norfork, Arkansas on December 6, 1923. She was the only child of Joseph and Mabel Brown Martin. Jorayne married Jeff D. Hackler on August 31, 1941. Together they had one child, JoLynne Hackler Whitfield. Jorayne was educated in Norfork, Springfield, Missouri, and Wichita, Kansas. She was a life-long Methodist and a member of First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home.

Jorayne is survived by two granddaughters, Jo Ellen and husband, Dr. Ed White, and Amy Lynne and husband, Shannon Flowers; four great-grandchildren, Rebecca (Matthew) Stephens, Shannon Lynne Flowers, Jonathan White, and Steven Flowers; and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter and son-in-law, Andy Whitfield.

Funeral services will be 10: 00 am, Friday, September 10, 2021 at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Daniel Thueson, officiating. Burial will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Stephens, Dr. Ed White, Shannon Flowers and Jonathan White. Honorary pallbearers will be the United Methodist Women, the Seeker's Sunday School Class and Calvin and Sissy Czeschin.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks or First United Methodist Church of Mountain Home.
