John was born April 3, 1941 to John and Helen Robinson in Johnson City, Tennessee. He married Carolyn Thomas December 13, 1972 at Charleston, SC. John was a retired Fire Chief for the State of California Dept of Corrections. John served in the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War. John was a member of East Side Baptist Church, Gideons and Promise Keepers; Mountain Home Masonic Lodge #225 F&AM, Twin Lakes Shrine Club, which he was just elected President and a member of the Clown Unit. Survivors: Wife, Carolyn; 2 sons, Tom (Felicia) Fox ofBrawley, Ca. and Jeff (Julie) Robinson of Ashville, Ohio; 4 daughters, Deborah Halbert of Stockton, Ca., Lisa (Mark) McMahon of Salinas, Ca., Julie Ball of Ohioand Jennifer (Charles) Hannah of Ohio; 2 Brothers, 3 Sisters, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in Death by: Parents Visitation: Sunday, December 12, 2004 2:00 to4:00 P.M. at Kirby-Boaz Funeral Home, Mountain Home and at 12:00noon until time of service at Morris-Baker Funeral Home in Johnson City, Tennessee Funeral: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Morris-Baker Funeral HomeChapel, Johnson City, Tennessee at 2:00 P.M.
