John Bennett

John Patrick Coney Bennett of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away June 18, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 81. He was born November 29, 1943, in Oakland, California, the son of Philip and Margaret Coney Bennett. John was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Elaine Smith on April 18, 1966, in Germany. John lived in Mountain Home since moving from California, in 2005. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.

John is survived by his wife, Elaine Bennett of Mountain Home, AR; son, Bobby Bennett of Mountain Home, AR; daugher, Lynn Weldon of California; sister, Vicki Stackpoole of California; two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Philip Bennett.
