Jimmy "Jim" Dale Dial, Jr. of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 23, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 65. He was born April 6, 1960, in Union City, Tennessee, the son of Jimmy and Dorothy Alford Dial. He worked as a truck driver in construction for 16 years. Jim lived in Mountain Home since moving from Granite City, Illinois in 1976. He was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. Jim will be remembered for his enthusiasm for all outdoor sports, especially fishing. He loved to barbecue and cook for family. He was a natural born entertainer, and was always making others laugh.
Jim is survived by his mother, Dorothy Dial of Mountain Home, AR; brothers, Tim (Charlotte) Dial of Scroggins, TX, and Kenny (Linda) Dial of Clever, MO; nieces, Valerie Sappenfield of Ruskin, FL, Alicia Jones of Republic, MO; and Ashley Mathis of Harrison, AR; and nephews, Jason Dial of Flower Mound, TX, and Josh Dial of Boise, ID.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy D. Dial, Sr.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 1:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. A Funeral Service for Jimmy will begin at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Thomas Bridgmon officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Derek Mathis, Ashley Mathis, Landyn Mathis, Kaleb Mathis, Alicia Jones, Riley Gregg, Jase Gregg, and Jason Dial as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
