Jason King was born to Bryan and Donita King in the small town of Alpaugh, California. From the moment he could walk, Jason was drawn to anything with two wheels. Riding motorcycles wasn’t just a hobby—it was his passion, his freedom, and ultimately, the way he left this world, doing what he loved most.

Jason’s life was a beautiful contradiction—fierce and tender, wild and wise. He grew up headbanging to metal, mellowed into country, and later surprised everyone by dancing and singing along to rap. His music taste was as dynamic as his personality—always evolving, always full of life.

A proud veteran, Jason served his country with honor and courage. He loved the outdoors, shooting, and the quiet strength that came from being prepared. But above all, Jason was a man of faith. He loved Jesus deeply and carried that peace with him, knowing exactly where he was going.

Jason’s journey wasn’t easy. He battled addiction for many years, but he never gave up. He turned his life around, graduated from college, and found purpose in helping others. As a Substance Abuse Navigator at Adventist Health, Jason became a beacon of hope. He beat the odds and became a pillar in the NA/AA community, guiding countless others toward recovery with compassion, humor, and unwavering support.

He was the guy who lit up every room with laughter, jokes, and that unforgettable smile. He was also the “Crazy Cat Dad” to Binx and any stray cat lucky enough to cross his path. But most of all, Jason was a devoted father to Ashley King and a proud grandfather to Jay and Ivy Horton. His love for them was boundless.

Jason is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Connie Hudson, uncle Dale Hudson, paternal grandparents Leonard and Jean King, and Uncle Kevin King.

He is survived by his daughter Ashley and grandchildren Jay and Ivy; his brothers Jared King (Christie) and Jacob King; nieces Whitney King (Jesus Vegara), Alianna, Graciela, and Soleya; Caitlyn Duke (James) and her twin boy Grayson & Huxley, nephews Trenton King (Destiny)and Trace King (Alexandera)and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues.

The King family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love from the hundreds of people who have reached out. Your support means the world.
