Janet Marie House of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away April 19, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 70. She was born August 20, 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Rayburn and Kathryn Clark May. She married Roger Linn House on October 7, 2001, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Janet lived in Mountain Home since moving from Forrest City, Arkansas in 1972. She was a lifetime member of the Eagles Aerie #3183 and served as the past President of the Ladies Auxiliary. Janet was proud of the fundraising the ladies auxiliary did for local charities. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Nichole (Brad) Cunningham of Flippin, AR and Tina Bradley of Mountain Home, AR; siblings, Johnny (Thereasa) May, Lynn (Scot) Parker, and Mark May; granddaughter, Tasha (Cuevas) Davis; great grandchildren, Leroy, Evelyn, and Ellis; and she held a special place in her heart for her great nephew, Tanner Hill, who she helped raise.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and niece, Kristy Vinson.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 23, 2026, 1:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service for Janet will begin at 2:00 pm, with Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain Home Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR, with Brad Cunningham, Cuevas Davis, Tanner Hill, Steve Towery, Noah Towery, and Kaleb Towery as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny May, Mark May, and Scot Parker.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
