James " Rue" Tabor, 79, passed away on September 02, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 79. James was born on March 03, 1947 in Harrison, Arkansas to E.J. and Jewel Dean Griffin Tabor. He married Twilla Ann Chambers on December 6, 1986 in Pyatt, Arkansas. Rue worked as a Mechanic. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic. Rue enjoyed camping, riding his lawn mower and spending time visiting with the Old Timers.

Rue is survived by his wife Twilla; daughters, Melissa (Bill Sims) Tabor, Rhonda (Gerry) Davis, Teresa (Rob) Belyea, Regina (David) Donahue, Roberta (Ed) Belyea and Lisa Tabor; brothers, Jim and Rick Tabor; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Greg Tabor; brother in law, Freddie Smith; grandchildren, Mariah, Matthew and Marcus.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be announced at a later date.
