Ida Grant Burris of Mountain Home, AR

Ida Neoma was born alongside her twin, Nida Leona on April 4, 1929 in Pocasset, OK to G. W. and Dovie Grant. Ida was reunited with her loved ones in Heaven on July, 31 2026. She proudly proclaimed to be an Okie throughout her life. Ida married Paul Burris on September 17, 1949 in Missouri. They moved to Stuttgart, AR in 1953 where they made their home and raised their family until 2002. Ida worked in the jewelry business for over 60 years selling diamonds and fine jewelry. She took tremendous pride in her work and considered her customers to be her friends. When Paul answered a call to the ministry, Ida also answered the call. They served together in pastoral ministry for over 25 years. Ida was a member of First Baptist Church Mountain Home where she enjoyed serving as a greeter. Survivors include daughter, Paulette Hill and husband, George of Mt. Home, AR, son, Kameron and wife Andrea of Harlingen, TX. Grandchildren, Grant, Quinn and Michael Hill, Courtney and Adam Carpenter, Katy Pennington and Adam Haldiman and Kye Burris. Two great grandchildren Wynn Carpenter and Remington Haldiman. Sister, Nancy Scott and brother, Jerry Grant. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her son, Rickey; her grandson, Ross Pennington; her parents; five sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held in Checotah, OK. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
