Helen Weiss

Helen Leffler Weiss of Cotter, Arkansas, passed away January 26, 2023, in Cotter, Arkansas at the age of 71. She was born October 16, 1951, in New York, New York, the daughter of Herman and Sylvia Rabinowitz Leffler. She married Ronald Weiss on November 1, 1985 in Columbia, Maryland and worked as a social worker. Helen lived in Cotter since moving from Columbia Maryland, in 1999. After retiring she was a co-owner of R&H Marine in Bull Shoals, Arkansas. She was of the Jewish faith. She enjoyed gardening, walking, writing, boating and traveling. Helen was a avid dog lover.

Helen is survived by her husband; Ronald Weiss of Cotter, Arkansas; son, Michael (Amy) Weiss of Cotter, Arkansas; daughter, Kelly (Gary) Blank of Winchester, Massachusetts; brother, Mark Leffler of Bronx, New York; grandchildren, Brea Weiss, and Sam & Ian Blank.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Leffler; and sister, Ella Leffler.

A private family graveside service was held for Helen on January 30, 2023 in the Flippin Cemetery.
