Helen Keller

A visitation for Helen Arabelle Keller of Lakeview, Arkansas, will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, September 13, 2012, at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home, Chapel, Bull Shoals. Helen passed away September 9, 2012, in Lakeview, Arkansas at the age of 96. She was born October 4, 1915, in Kirkland, Indiana, the daughter of Ollie and Mary Fine Miller. She married Joe Keller on September 24, 1981, at Casper, Wyoming and worked as an Inspector for Standard Coil in Aurora, Ill. Helen lived in Lakeview, Arkansas since 1981, moving from Bothell, Washington. She loved fishing, crocheting, gardening and traveling. Helen is survived by her two daughters, Rose Edwards of Lakeview, AR and Marietta McClintoc of Vancouver, WA; one brother, James Miller of Lebanon, IN; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph Lewis; four brothers and one sister. Memorials may be made to American Cancer or Heart Associations. Arrangements are by Kirby and Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
