George Stephenson

George F. Stephenson was born April 7th, 1913 at Chicago, Illinois; the son of John and Anna Waffle Stephenson. He married Maye Williams on August 22, 1936 at Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Stephenson retired from the Cloverleaf Dairy where he had worked for over 20 years. He has resided in Mountain Home since moving from Downers Grove, Illinois in 1980. He enjoyed reading and his family. George was a Deacon for 12 years at First Baptist Church in Downers Grove, Illinois and a Trustee at First Baptist Church in Mountain Home where he was a member. Survivors: His wife, Maye Stephenson of Mountain Home, 1 son, Gordon R. Stephenson of Mountain Home and 1 grandson, Matthew James Stephenson and wife Janell of Durango, Colorado. Preceded in Death by: His parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister Visitation: Noon Sunday, February 11, 2007 until the service Funeral: Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 11, 2007 at Kirby-Boza Funeral Chapel in Mountain Home with the Reverend Max Pyron officiating. Burial: Entombment will be at Kirby's Tucker Memorial Mausoleum in Mountain Home.
