Mr. Hahaj died Thursday March 1, 2007 at Pine Lane Healthcare. He was 88. Frank Hahaj was born October 9, 1918 at Gary, Indiana to Walter and Mary Kania Hahaj. He married Lillian Bruness in October of 1941 in Chicago, IL. He was a carpenter for most of his career. Mr. Hahaj was a Navy veteran of WWII. He lived in Chicago, IL before moving to Mountain Home in 1976. He was a life member of the VFW Post #3246. He enjoyed fishing and especially woodworking. He was member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Survivors: 2 sons, Clyde Hahaj, of Mountain Home, Don Hahaj, of Palm Springs, CA, daughter, Pam Whitmore, of Phoenix, AZ, sister, Stella Rodway, of Schaumburg, IL, 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
