Fran Touchette

Fran Touchette, age 76, passed on and went to be with the Lord on October 29,2023. She was born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of Frank and Eunice Touchette. She loved her family so much and was the most devoted, patient mother to her three daughters, Deborah Susan Touchette, Laura Marie Poslick, and Christina June Touchette. Her joy was found in her grandchildren, Eric Poslick, Rhea, Darrel, Trenton, and Trevor Clayton; and her great-grandchildren Venice Poslick, Judah Poslick, Rhyvre, Juniper, Silas, Luna, and Leo. She was the wife to Ron Watson, sister to Patricia Ann Bemis and Mary Jane Perrotta, and dog mom to King.

Fran worked over 30 years as a schoolteacher who went above and beyond for her students. She was a talented writer and authored several novels. She was a devout Christian who enjoyed sharing God's word by publishing daily bible verses along with photos of the scenic beauty of God’s earth to encourage and spread light to others. She spent her days spending time with family, teaching, writing, and gardening. She enjoyed every aspect of life she was able to. Camping, fishing, traveling, playing games, and spending holidays with her grandchildren and family was one of the most precious delights of her life. She loved being an encourager to her autistic grandson and learning from him as well. At the end of each day, she would reflect on the day and ensure she had been understanding of others as an exercise to live in the light and to be kind. Her personal belief was to choose to live in the light and this was her wish for all. Fran lives on with us and touches our lives daily.

A Funeral Service for Fran will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jody Hurst officiating. Burial will be in the Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, AR.
