Florence Marcek

Florence E. Marcek died February 29, 2008 at the age of 83. She was born April 12, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Michael Vandermeer and Edith Gilmore Vandermeer. She married George Marcek on August 24, 1946 at Chicago, Illinois. She was as homemaker and had lived in the Lakeview area since moving from Homewood, Illinois in 1985. Survivors: Florence Marcek is survived by her husband, George Marcek, 2 sons, Kent Marcek and his wife Marianne of Bettendorf, IA andSott Marcek and his wife Eileen of Goosecreek, SC, sister, Jessie Wagner of Pinehurst, NC and 3 grandsons, Duane, Adam and Christopher. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by parents and her brother Michael Vandermeer.. Funeral: Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 4, 2008 2:00 P.M. at the Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials: Memorial may be made to the Hospice of the Ozark Hospice House
