Services for Evelyn Swanson, 81, of Lawrence, Kansas will be private. Evelyn passed away March 1, 2012, at Lawrence, Kansas. She was born May 11, 1929, at Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Ruby Howson Holle. She married James Swanson on May 21, 1950, at Clinton, Iowa and was a homemaker. Evelyn lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas since 1986, moving from Lawrence, Kansas. She returned to Lawrence in November, 2011 to be with her family. She is survived by 2 sons, Jeff (Jeannine) Swanson and Gregg Swanson. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arrangements are by Kirby & Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
