Elizabeth “Beth” Krueger Angel, 81, passed away after a brief illness, on June 11th, 2026 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born July 25, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Dr. John William Krueger and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Latham Krueger. After a childhood spent in Chicago, suburban New Jersey, and rural Wisconsin, Beth attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and ultimately earned a degree in accounting from West Virginia University. She worked as both an accountant and a high school teacher at various times. She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. Beth was a lifelong active church member and volunteer. She lived all over the country and enjoyed a wide circle of friends, passionately pursuing a range of hobbies wherever she went. She especially loved creating cherished memories with her children and grandchildren. Those she’s left behind will remember her beauty, elegance, keen intellect, wit and warmth.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Brandon; son, Jay (Amanda) Angel; daughter, Heather (Kevin) Joyce; five grandchildren, Lauren Angel, Matthew Angel, Nolan Joyce, Ethan Joyce, Rylan Joyce; and siblings, Carol, Robin (Patty), Charles, George (Chris), Ruth (Kevin) Buckholtz; and other devoted family members. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jack Lionel Angel, Jr. (2013); and her brother, Jack Latham Krueger (2019).

A Memorial Service for Beth will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Mountain Home First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Beth’s memory to Hospice of the Ozarks, at hospiceoftheozarks.org.
