Elaine Myers

Elaine Joan Myers, 80, of Bull Shoals, passed away on February 24, 2026, in Bull Shoals. She was born on May 30, 1945, in Aurora, Illinois, to William and Stella (Landgus) Riley. On September 25, 1965, she married Kenneth Myers in Aurora, Illinois. Over the years, Elaine worked in a variety of roles. She proudly owned and operated her own beauty shop, where she enjoyed serving others and forming lasting friendships. Later, she found her favorite job as the night manager of the local Hollywood Video store, a position she truly loved for the people she met and the conversations she shared.

Elaine made her home in Bull Shoals after moving from Montgomery in 2005. A devout Catholic, she dedicated her life to her faith in Jesus Christ. One of her greatest gifts was her steadfast prayer life; she faithfully lifted up not only family and friends, but also acquaintances and anyone in need. She was an active and devoted member of the Women’s Bible Group.

Elaine found great joy in caring for her home and cherished the companionship of her beloved cat, Stormy.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Ray Myers of Bull Shoals; brother, William (Karen) Riley of Bull Shoals; sister, Diane Salois of Aurora, IL; brother-in-law, Dale (Jodi) Myers of Sugar Grove, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews including, Kimberly Rauch of Midway, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Denise Storm.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Kirby & Family Funeral & Cremation Services Chapel in Bull Shoals, Celebrant Heather Marsalis officiating.
