Edward Frances Stenson of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away November 17, 2025, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born November 8, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Thomas and Mary Ofarrell Stenson. Edward was a U.S. Marines veteran of Korean War. He married Faith Etzkorn in 1971 in Chicago, Illinois and was a conductor for Chicago Belt Railroad for more than 45 years. Edward lived in Mountain Home since moving from Hickory Hills, Illinois, in 2002. He volunteered with the Rodney-Jordan Volunteer Fire Department.

Edward is survived by his son, Kenneth (Sandra) Fobert of Norfork, AR; daughter, Lenore (Todd) Fobert McClaskey of Gassville, AR; daughter, Donna Stenson; granddaughter, Faith Fobert; sister, Josephine Grund; and brother, Thomas Stenson. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; siblings, Connie Sorenson, John Stenson, and Patrick Stenson; and son, Keith Fobert.

A Memorial Service for Edward will be 10:30 am, Monday, December 1, 2025, at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, with Military Honors provided by the United States Marine Corps and the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 Honor Guards.
