Edward Louis Clark Jr.

Edward Louis Clark, Jr. of Midway, Arkansas, passed away July 8, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 86. He was born August 9, 1935, in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Edward Lewis Clark, Sr. and Armenia Johnson Clark. He married Louise Elliott on June 6, 2009, in Summerville, South Carolina and moved form Charleston, South Carolina to Midway, Arkansas in 2016. Edward was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and owned his own construction business. He was a Mason and an Elder of Redeemer Lutheran Church. He enjoyed feeding the deer and wildlife that would visit his property, and he was always ready for his next handyman project. He was known for his kindness and love for the Lord.

Edward is survived by his wife, Louise Clark of Midway, AR; son, Edward L. Clark, III of McDonough, GA; daughter, Theresa C. Clements of Ladson, SC; sisters, Barbara A. Darrow of McCorner, SC, and Grace Clontz of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Jon Witt, Spencer Witt, Keeley Witt, Morgon Peterson, and Matthew Clark.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service for Edward will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with Reverend Kevin McReynolds officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church of Mountain Home.
