Doris Lorraine Coulter, 89, of Flippin died January 8, 2004 at her residence. She was born February 8, 1914 at LaPel, Indiana the daughter of William J. and Nancy A. Abney Smith. She married the late Clark Coulter in 1951 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mrs. Coulter was a retired restaurant owner/operator and had moved to Flippin from Colorado in 1968. She was a dietician, loved knitting and propagating plants, and supported many ministries. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. Survivors: She is survived by one brother, Ronald Smith of DeKalb, Illinois; one sister, Greta Pulliam of Normal, Illinois; one stepson, John (Terri) Harrington of Hamilton, Montana; 4 grandchildren, Amber, Health, Brandon and Katie; three great-grandchildren; one nephew, George Anderson, one niece, Clara Mae Edgoose, and close friends, Anna Tillman and Maxine Tillman of Cotter, Arkansas, Dorene Stoner and Kathy Rose of Flippin, Arkansas. Preceded in Death by: Doris Lorraine Coulter was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers. Funeral: Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2004 at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Flippin with Past Bill Rawlings officiating. Burial: Burial will be in the Flippin Cemetery. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Feed the Children Foundation or Easter Seals. Honorary Bearers: Honorary pallbearers were Heath Cummings, Cody Jackson, Scott Jackson and Kevin Rose. Active Bearers: Brandon Jackson, Seth Stoner, Kenneth Floyd, Ken Marberrry, Chance Rose and Edward Matz serving as pallbearers.
