Dora Nevitt

Dora Nevitt died December 27, 2007 at Hospice House. She was 74 years old. Dora was born September 25, 1933 at Elgin, Illinois to Joseph and Elsie Nyari. She married Herbert H. Nevitt on October 28, 1952 at Lewiston, Illinois. She was a homemaker. Dora lived in Lakeview for 18 years, moving from Peoria, Illinois in 1989. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved caring for her home, painting, rug making, quilting and all types of crafts. Her family lovingly called her the housemouse. Survivors: Husband, Herbert H. Nevitt of Lakeview, Arkansas, two daughters Beverly Hoffman(Steven) of Peoria, Illinois, and Tracey Bingham(Michael) of Metamora, Illinois, three sons Thomas Nevitt, Stephen Nevitt(Carolyn) of Oxford, Mississippi, and Joseph Nevitt(Christine) of Mahomet, Illinois, sister Betty Bentley(Wally) of Lakeview, Arkansas, Step-Mother Margaret Nyari of Peoria, Illinois, seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
