Donna Jean Nettles of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on March 2, 1948, in Illinois, she was the daughter of Richard and Evelyn Kirscht Hill. Donna married James Nettles on July 3, 1965, in Antioch, Illinois. In 1994, Donna moved from Round Lake, Illinois, to Mountain Home, Arkansas, where she made her home. She devoted many years working as a housekeeper for Baxter Health, formerly Baxter Regional Medical Center. Donna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home. She found joy in playing Bingo, going on casino outings, and expressed her creativity through quilting.

Donna is remembered by her sons, Michael (Sandy) Nettles of McHenry, Illinois, and Chris (Alice) Nettles of Lake Villa, Illinois. She also leaves behind her sister, Pat Ropinski of McHenry, Illinois; her sister-in-law, Diana Nettles of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Bradley (Jen) Nettles, Stephanie (Kevin) Seminary, Kayla (Tyler Conrad) Nettles, Michelle (Patrick Webster) Nettles, and Ryan Nettles; and three great-grandchildren, Ezra, Charlie, and Hailey. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
