Don Fredrick "Fred" Kobialka, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on January 26, 1944, in Alexandria, Louisiana, Fred was the beloved son of Heinz and Winona Hudson Kobialka. Fred married the love of his life, Marilyn Baggett, on August 19, 1971, in Louisiana. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he honorably served his country during the Vietnam War. In DeQuincy, Louisiana, he was a dedicated postal worker. In 1978, Fred made the journey to Arkansas from DeQuincy, Louisiana, where he embraced his new community with warmth and enthusiasm. In Arkansas, he worked for Havens Heating and Air.

Fred was a man of many passions. He relished spending time shooting guns and taking long rides on his Harley Davidson motorcycles in his younger years. Additionally, he enjoyed the strategy and camaraderie of playing checkers, a game that brought him much joy. He loved watching birds, squirrels, and rainbows formed from crystals hanging in the windows, and listening to the wind chimes.

Fred leaves behind a loving family, including his devoted wife, Marilyn Kobialka; his daughter, Sarah Jones, and son-in-law, Russell; his sister, Sharon Bosse; his brother, Nelson Delcour; and seven cherished grandchildren: Joshua Kobialka, Sasa Jones, Thomas Jones, Sarah Grace Curtis, Jadyn Sanders, Eric White, and Leah White. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Remington Haynes and Alex Leisey. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Carla Jo Smith, his brother Delton Delcour, and his son Edward Heinz Kobialka.

A Celebration of Life to honor Fred’s memory will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the Clarkridge Fire Department with Major Jeff Daniels officiating.
