Dodge Michael Harris, age 22, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on August 28, 2026.

Born January 9, 2004, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. He was the son of Ken Harris and Tasha Harris. He was a graduate of Mountain Home High School class of 2022. He was a student at the University of Arkansas where he was a senior finance major. Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Bobby Hulse.

Dodge will be remembered for his kind heart, quick mind, great sense of humor, and an incredible love of sports that was evident to anyone who knew him.

Dodge was appropriately named for his beloved Los Angeles Dodgers, and he certainly lived up to his namesake. He loved the Dodgers so much that a couple of years ago, he took a trip by himself just to see them play in person. It was the kind of thing Dodge would do when he loved something—he was all in. That trip became even more special when the team he had followed so faithfully went on to win the championship.

His love of sports didn’t stop with baseball. Dodge was a devoted fan of all things Arkansas Razorbacks—sometimes, those closest to him might say, a little too devoted. Win or lose, he was always ready to talk about the Hogs.

Calling Dodge a sports fan hardly seems sufficient. He was a walking sports encyclopedia, with an amazing ability to remember players, statistics, games, and details most people had long forgotten. If there was a sports question, chances were Dodge knew the answer—and probably a few extra facts you didn’t know you needed.

Golf held a special place in Dodge’s life, too. He loved the game, the competition, and especially the opportunity to play a nice course. He appreciated a beautiful, well-kept golf course and was always ready for the chance to experience a great one. For Dodge, a day on a good course with people he enjoyed was a pretty great day.

Dodge also had a knack for turning his sports knowledge into a little business. He loved collecting and trading baseball cards and somehow always seemed to find that special card, make the right trade, and figure out a way to make a little money in the process.

But as much as Dodge loved sports, golf, and a good deal, he loved the people in his life most. He loved his friends, treasured his family, and shared an especially close bond with his brothers. They were an incredibly important part of his world, and he loved them deeply.

Dodge was smart, funny, competitive, and genuinely kind. He could make people laugh, could probably out-argue most anyone when it came to sports, and brought an enthusiasm to the things he cared about that was uniquely his.

Dodge will be deeply missed, but those who loved him will have plenty to smile about when they think of him—on a beautiful golf course, when someone pulls a great baseball card, when the Dodgers take the field, or when the Razorbacks give everyone another reason to yell at the television.

His life was far too short, but the memories, stories, laughter, and love he leaves behind will remain with his family and friends always.

And we’d like to think Dodge now has the best seat in the house, keeping up with every score with his Grandpa Bob.

Survivors include his brothers, Satchel and McGee Harris; his mother, Tasha Harris (Wally, Terry, and Brennan Schrock); his father, Ken Harris (Johanna, Jackson, Bennett, and Lincoln Foster); uncle, Lance (Shammi) Hulse; aunts, Katie Stollings and Kelsie Lovan; uncle, Kaden Harris; cousins, Isaac, Haze, Haddie, Riley (Caitlin), Emily, Harris, Sloane, Wade, and Sadie; his grandparents, Vicky Hulse, Frank and Brenda Harris and Nita and Danny Hill.

A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Real Life Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bomber Basketball or Norfork Scholarship Fund in Memory of Dodge Harris.
