Denise Evon Jones, 51, of Clarkridge, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2026, in Clarkridge, Arkansas.

Denise was born on May 21, 1974, in Los Alamitos, California, to Ian Stanley Omstead and Jayelle Neal Martin. She married the love of her life, William Jones III, on June 2, 2007, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. In 2005, Denise moved from Norman, Oklahoma to Clarkridge, Arkansas, where she built a beautiful life rooted in faith, family, and community.

Many in the area knew Denise from her time working with Mountain Home Public Schools. She was also proud of her 12 years with McDonald’s, where she cherished the opportunity to visit with and serve members of her community.

Denise never met a stranger, her bright smile and warm spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

A devoted member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church, Denise faithfully served in Hands of Praise and enjoyed in playing the choir bells. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived it out daily through kindness, generosity, laughter, and love.

Denise enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and watching musical movies. She loved spending time outdoors fishing, playing mini golf, and creating memories with her family. Above all, she treasured her role as wife, mother, mimi, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Jones III of Clarkridge, Arkansas; her mother, Jayelle Martin; stepfather, Robert Buettner; and grandmother, Barbara Heckethorn Taft. She leaves behind her children, Patsy Crystal Ann (Daniel) Hall of Virginia Beach, VA, William Jones IV of Mountain Home, AR, Diane Evon Gould of Alva, OK, Angela Marie Jones of Bull Shoals, AR, and Jacob Stanley Jones of Clarkridge, AR. She is also survived by her sister, Christina (Alex) Jackson of Huntingtown, MD; her beloved grandchildren, Kyndall Dunn and William Jones V; her mother-in-law, Patsy (the late, William) Jones, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (the late, Steven) Cooper and Elisha Jones-Sharp; aunts, Michelle Sjerven and LauraMae Brosz; along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Denise was preceded in death by her father, Ian Stanley Omstead; her father-in-law, William Jones, Jr.; and her brother-in-law, Steven Cooper, and many loved ones that have gone before her.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Mausoleum, with William Jones IV, Jacob Jones, Daniel Hall, Tyler Walker, Kaleb Wright, and Rick Kaiser serving as pallbearers.

Denise’s legacy of faith, strength, compassion, and unwavering love for her family will continue to shine in the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
